Here is another conversation between Andy Britnell and Ali Stewart about Leading & Developing High Performance. This time we are exploring the main idea behind this management and leadership development model – the concept of High Support and High Challenge being used in equal measure.

There are various other underpinning theories which are mentioned briefly such as positive regard, genuineness, catching people doing the right things, and expectation theory. These will be discussed in more depth at a later date but until then enjoy the video and let us know what you think.

Very helpful. Doing a ‘presentation’ to the staff team later today, before starting an appraisals process – this has given me a few ideas for the support and challenge model which i want to look at first as a team.
